Stickypistons not working

sticky pistons not working properly i have a 1x2 sp door wired up to open and close and it will open but not close

1.8 changed redstone or it may be a spigot bug. Looking into it.

1.8 seems to have borked a lot of redstone for some reason. I've got a few screenshots of some of the impossible things it's done around here somewhere.
